1000 Postcard Project

This is an ongoing project where I am creating two-sided postcards that relate to all and anything that comes to mind. It is almost like a sketchbook but with stacks of cards instead of a bound book. I draw and write, glue and tape what comes to mind as I sit at my studio table.

This project began with my interest in a Connecticut itinerant who traveled incessantly from the Hudson River to the Connecticut River. I wondered what he would want to write or draw to commemorate his travels, and then I created those cards. And from that it grew into my own drawings and collages that commemorate my own travels, both real and imagined. I will continue this until I have made 1000 two-sided postcards.
